@Bbk420 I have an update, of a relatively happy sort. This is "only" a manic phase bi-polar situation where my friend believes he died. The notification about that was utterly convincing but in the end he isn't dead and hopefully he'll come out of this without getting himself killed by not being sane. Yes, It's complicated AF and this is the first time I've dealt with such a situation.

Sitting here a little stunned by your toot, terribly sorry for the loss of your friend.
That's a lot of hurt to take your life on Christmas day...
Hope you process through this with less pain and sorrow but find a way to remember the joy of what you two shared.
