Hair's fun. I'm in a phase where I'm trying to embrace my natural self. Which, in my case, means embracing wavy/curly hair that is going gray. Spent years of my life trying to fight mother nature, because of cultural conditioning, using dyes, straightening, it, no more! I'd like to think I'm woke now but mostly I'm just lazy. Have you ever heard of Brad Mondo? He's a YouTuber who always tells you you're gorgeous. 💜 Good place to start.
@janallmac @demystify @Museek I am afraid I rejected most feminine socialization early on, recognizing the implicit power dynamic and resenting the hell out of it. Now I just have to make peace with never buying pants in the "regular" instead of chunky sizes.
