I’m frankly astonished by the extent of defeatism being expressed by some folks in response to Biden’s move. We’ve got an election to win, not just for the presidency but all the way down the ballot. Despair is not an option!
@HopeSeeker I need a reminder… what was the story?
@cassandra17lina “ "If you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all"…😎
@cassandra17lina We voted for him! We picked him! He offered. We said yes. Decision time is over. So how does this more forward in a democratic fashion? It didn’t get here democratically. I’m still going to vote like my like depends on it because it does but damn it all
@HannahRayJones @cassandra17lina who is “we?”
Certainly not those of us who live in states that didn’t have a Democratic Presidential Primary…
@BrainTrust @cassandra17lina my state has had primaries already. Regardless, he should have given everyone a chance to vote their choices before the first primary. I’m disappointed by his late decision. I also think he’s excelled at his job. I’ll vote blue November.
@HannahRayJones @cassandra17lina not every state HELD a primary.
Those of us in FL never had our say; as an example.
Joe should have dropped out in November when it was clear he was more interested in the status quo a la Israeli policy. He lost a ton of progressives, youth and BIPOC for that, and delegates were already sharpening their knives.
He was never supposed to run for a second term.
@BrainTrust @cassandra17lina I agree on all those points
@cassandra17lina If you’re in doubt, maybe remember Thumper.
