@cassandra17lina if our Democracy falls from the lack of potential voter turnout the blame is on the Republicans who’ve derided full participation, impaired governance, and actively dissuaded voting by making seem useless.
Voting doesn’t immediately turn the ship of state 180 degrees, but it sure sets the course direction.

@CanisPundit That’s why our county Democratic Party is laser focused on voter turnout especially youth and people of color. We have enough Dems and Unaffiliated folks to win everything if we just get souls to the polls.
@cassandra17lina my comments echo a conversation I had with a friend of mine. He’s educated, employed with the VA, former active duty military, and benefits from the government Tricare insurance. I Socratically asked “is it reasonable to expect Republican control of Congress, the Presidency, and their hold on the Supreme Court with their goals of privatization keep your job or veteran’s benefits safe?” Suffice to say a Democratic leaning Independent is going to vote rather than abstain.
