Mr. Tan Man ponders the possibility of reading banned books - or any books, for that matter - on this morning’s #sniffari walk. #DogsOfCoSo
@NiveusLepus @cassandra17lina banning things makes me more intrigued. I don't really read but I have watched banned films just because I wanted to understand the fuss.
@Cynanthrope @cassandra17lina There really is a market angle there. When a story of mine was disqualified from a contest for being to disturbing, I advertised "Read the novel that was to hot for SPFBO!"
@NiveusLepus @cassandra17lina only truly disturbing "do not read" I ever encountered was a dark web library of forbidden texts many years ago. I have no regrets but there was some dark shit.
@NiveusLepus I asked, you delivered. Thanks. 🙂
@Novels56 I try to only alienate people with my books. ^_^
@LnzyHou some of my favorite books are on that list….not Harry Potter though. Never read any of them. Shocking for a school librarian, I know. 😆
They were enchanting. But more importantly, they brought millions of kids to reading.
So very important ✨
@LnzyHou oh I know! My husband was reading them before he died. I don’t know why I never read them. I purchased many copies for the library.
@LnzyHou @cassandra17lina Except The Giver. That book is reactionary crap. #Snark
@cassandra17lina Read Banned books. Heck Read my books!
Just read. ^_^
