Remembering my first rescue dog “Shadow” who loved any form of transport from car to kayak to motorboat. He once hopped onto the pontoon of a seaplane that pulled up to the dock at our vacation spot on Moosehead Lake in Maine. #DogsOfCoSo

@LnzyHou My ex-husband and I got Shadow at an estimated year of age, and he lived another 17.5 years! When we got divorced, Shadow and our other dog stayed with my ex (I was paying alimony to him so he could stay in our house with a big fenced yard.) when Shadow was nearing the end of his days, my ex let me know so that I could say by farewell.
