Implementing a draft would be great. Then we could have an army just like Russia. They sure are "winning" in Ukraine.

@KGinKS Having been married to a Vietnam vet for 20 years, I’m no fan of a military draft (he enlisted in the Marines rather than waiting to be drafted into the Army), but if our future “leaders” don’t like the caliber of volunteers, they can either hold a draft or hire mercenaries. The latter option would appeal to them, no doubt, as a way to enrich the already rich with privatization schemes.
