Little Miss Attitude taking note of the azaleas on this morning’s #sniffari as allergy season turns this daily event into a “snifflefari” for Momma. #DogsOfCoSo
@CJLavoie Oh, I’m not blaming the flowers… it’s totally tree pollen here, with trees that used to bloom sequentially now blooming concurrently. I’ve got plenty of flowering and berry-bearing native plants for our beloved pollinators.
I’m so jealous of all the photos I’m seeing of flowers and trees blooming. Here in Albuquerque there’s a smidge of color but mostly still grey-brown.
❤️ 🌷
It's just that I recently read about the flower types associated with different types of pollen, and it seemed like a good opportunity to chirp about it! 🐤
Trees galore here too. Allegra and Flonase are my friends!
@CJLavoie @cassandra17lina Which totally explains the irony in my state's flower being goldenrod... 🤣😂🤣
I planted a few different kinds of goldenrod last summer/fall, and hoping they get established before the deer decide to make them into their snack.
Toby says "Life is short, sometimes just take the time to stop and pee on the roses."
@cassandra17lina Don’t blame the colorful flowers for your sniffles. They are colorful to attract pollinators, and have sticky pollen. The true culprits are the invisible ones, with dull tiny flowers that put out lots of airborne pollen.
ragweed = airborne
goldenrod = sticky
