I began work this week on my annual “Black Friday” project. Rather than buying more stuff, I pack my car with clothes, shoes, handbags, puzzles, games, books, and household items to donate to my local thrift shop. For many folks in my county, that’s the only affordable shopping option. The thrift shop also supports programs to keep kids in schol and build skills and self esteem. It’s a win-win and a sustainable option to recycle and reuse gently used items that have plenty of life left.

@cassandra17lina Great idea! I recently finished a clean out the closets project and donated items to thrift shops.
