I had a family member recently telling me how unnecessary Affirmative Action was. When I asked him how he felt about legacy admissions he didn't know what I was talking about. (My kids and I were the first in my family to get any education beyond high school, so he was clueless about the process.)

BUT, he saw a Youtube video that told him what he should think, and didn't need any more than that to have a strong opinion.
