I'm starting to feel bad about something. Virginia Beach schools has their dashboard listing COVID-19 exposures at schools. I just sent them a 7th note because the dashboard listed a school that doesn't exist, Red Middle School.
- 1 html table that had a <th> where a <tr> should have been
- dates seperated by dots, not commas
- Rows missing in various cells
- Scholl
- Schools being called different things in different rows, one called 5 different things

My rule that I don't have to worry about annoying people until they tell me I'm annoying them. I can't read minds.
@mcfate Normally, I'd agree, but with a faction of the local school board drinking the right-wing kool-aid, and the whole F12 thing in Missori . . . and my wife working for the schools and being part of the education association (union) going after collective bargining, I'd be an easy target to the right person.
@butch
Schools in general need all the tech/IT/webdev support they can get, you're doing a good thing, IMO! They can learn and improve, hopefully.
Though I will say schools here improved noticeably during the pandemic; trial by fire. Schools still could use tech help, generally speaking.
@janallmac Couldn't agree more. The amount of free work they get from me just by helping my wife keep her course and case load running.
But I will admit I'm probbly just being paranoid (small town cop-raised in a very political borough)
I will admit, I'm scraping the website for my own use (it really needs some graphs) but I'm starting to worry I'm annoying them. And, yes,they have mostly fixed the things that would break a screen reader, but not the naming issues.
