It's all because of me. I've been buying a LOT of books. Not necessarily reading them, but it feels better to have them somehow. #cosobookclub https://www.bbc.com/news/business-54703164
As a dyed-in-the-wool #bibliophile, I approve of this.
Y'all need to give us some updated #opencarrybooks ;)
Show us your reading pile!

I'm interested too. I've enjoyed many #CoSoBook recos.

Well, about to reread David Wong's #JohnDiesAtTheEnd & #ThisBookIsFullOfSpiders, just because they're fun reads (escapism); also his #book #ZoeyPunchesTheFutureInTheDick (as I haven't read that one yet), along with a reread of Iamblichus's #OnTheMysteries (Thomas Taylor translation).
I really want to reread Austen's #PrideAndPrejudice, though may have to repurchase a hard copy, as...I'm having problems getting into it on my Kindle βΉοΈ

That's my list for the remainder of this week, and some of the next (depending); will throw more on as I finish those.

Where would we be without escapist reading? I've plowed through a fair amount myself, though never in just a few hours. I'm no slouch but man, you guys are fast.
@bluesbaby no need to read quickly, imo.
some books lend themselves well to quick reading, others lend themselves well to a glacial pace.
agree that escapist reading is lovely - especially in a high-anxiety year.
