Got an emergency alert on the mobile and swiped it off screen. Now I have coffee and want to see it again and ... that's not possible?! What the heck
@mcfate I found it (Android, Motorola) by searching for, exactly, "emergency alert history"
What a boggle, get some UX, Motorola.
Glad it's there.

Ask Alexa. Her greatest talent seems to be passing on weather alerts including ones that have expired.
@Sr0bi Have never used it, but that sounds not-too-useful.
This turned out to be an alert from the power company and was them saying, "Nothing to worry about", so...why...the...alert.
@b4cks4w
During the big Texas winter storm there were announcements from the power company saying "don't call us". That might be acceptable if it was entirely about blackouts initiated by them. But how do I know if my outage is deliberate? How do THEY know that the transformer for my block didn't die? What they should have said was "Don't call unless you've been down more than x number of hours." But it's Texas.

On an iPhone, if you unlock it and swipe down from above the screen, it shows you your previous notifications.
