This morning while preparing to make waffles, a stick of butter I was trying to melt exploded in my microwave. Coating every surface in melted butter. That was not a fun cleanup.

The rest of my day of cooking went great, including perfect waffles.

@voltronic Yeah I want to understand this phenomenon. Must be water drops/pockets in the fat, right? Incomplete emulsion or something. Maybe shake the cows.
