So I need to re-side* a shed. I gather that, in the modern era, I have material choices like 'cement fiber board' and 'engineered wood'.
My experience is with olde-fashioned cedar/pine/cypress.
Any thoughts appreciated.

@b4cks4w we use cement fiberboard here because of termites. are they an issue in your area?

@b4cks4w yep, passing that along as we're looking at tearing out all our first floor ceilings and replacing with concrete board thanks to the little devils. neighbors just had to do that too
@b4cks4w My two cents: Stick with what you know. Maybe go with a treated or pressed wood type to better withstand the weather this time.
