Good morning. It’s only one data point, but 3,311 folks voted yesterday on Day One of Early Voting in my county in North Carolina. 1,226 absentee ballots have been received. That’s 3.6% of our county’s registered voters. Lines were longer than I’ve seen in past early voting, and our county Democrats had a robust presence doing outreach. Republicans outnumber Dems by a big margin, but 38% of our registered voters are unaffiliated with either party, so this could get very interesting.
