@corlin I haven't used Nextcloud, hear it's great.
For work stuff I also use rclone to be able to work with commercial cloud -- not nearly as quick/easy, but good.

Dumb question ?
I am using "Nextcloud" on my own system, not on some paid server, and it is working great.
It offers encryption.
What advantage does "Syncthing" have over it ?
