Today is the day we go to mom & dad’s house to talk to them about transitioning to assisted living. We have to do it as a group because dad tends to tell people different stories and repeating only what he wanted to hear.
Then we’re all going out to dinner together :) usually spouse has to work but he was able to leave work early :)
Dad has agreed he shouldn’t drive & wants to sell his truck since he can’t get into it anyway. Talked about that they need to make a plan.
We’re going to talk to an estate lawyer like we did for the LLC and get things squared away.

My 80 yo mom just sold her car thru CarMax. We got an online quote then got all her paperwork/keys/etc together. We were there for 2 hours total. They bought her 5 yo Elantra for the same price she bought it for! We were happy with the process and outcome. 🤑
