How do you go about sitting your extremely stubborn father down to tell him it’s time to go to an assisted living or nursing home?
He can barely walk, incontinent, falls a lot, it’s a stress and burden for mom because she has health issues, too. 😞
@annamuneca There's no easy way to do it. Is your mom's health important to him? If so, try going with that angle. Good luck!

@HealingHobbit that’s the hard part. He’s very selfish and immature. He has SO much pride that it incapacitates him.
@annamuneca That makes it so difficult. Maybe you should have Mom stay with you a day or two and let him see how it will be if he doesn't get help. Or get a service to send caregivers to the house to help, which can be pricey, but gives her a break and him help he needs.
