HR is messing up their hiring process to fill my role. They told one candidate “you need an RHIT”. Candidate has an RHIA which is one step above and, in my opinion, better. It’s a leadership role. My guess is they don’t want to pay what a RHIA should be paid……

@Mauve_matelot nope. The fact that the person messaged me on LinkedIn asking “Just curious if you know how much your hiring manager knows about HIM credentials?”
They know very little and don’t seem interested in learning. Sometimes it feels like we’re a department they HAVE to have & are bothered when we bring up concerns🙄
