Not mad. Lots of roasts, burger & steaks!
I have paid for the beef & butcher. I’m keeping it all.
I have not, however, told spouse about it 😂😂😂
Our finances are separate so I don’t need to tell him anything about what I do with my money but wow… we now have just under 200 lbs of beef. That’ll last us a LONG LONG time & at slightly less than $3.60/lb that’s a good deal IMO for this area. Plus locally grown & packaged.
I just opened a 1.1lb packet of “meh” ground beef from supermarket that was marked at $3.99/lb which was “on sale”.
Had a look at what we got from our 1/4 beef: 55 lbs of ground beef, a few packs of short ribs, several chuck and arm roasts, several top sirloin, Ribeye & T-bone steaks, rump roasts, a few small tenderloin cuts, and soup bones.
I’ll have to do some research on the short ribs & soup bones.

If I had the means to store it, I'd do the same.
There's not room in my home for a big chest freezer unfortunately.
@stueytheround we don’t have room for it…
BUT one of my brothers lives 15 minutes away and said he’d store it in their deep freeze for us to access anytime we want. Can’t turn that down. Makes me grateful to have the family I have ❤️
