Yes!
Wow, if you look at the whole map, there's not much pink. And when you look at the pink, it's either not more Trump, or the numbers of people contributing to either is very low.
@AlphaCentauri @altucker
Sorry I want to be encouraged by this reported data but something feels off about these numbers and the reason may be in the article….
“ There are outside groups that don’t have to disclose donors and that make up some of the spending for both Harris and Trump, so this is only a part of the funds backing the two candidates.”
I live in one of the most GOP zips and can’t believe Harris has more $$ donated than TFG.
@Tbdev @AlphaCentauri yep - individuals can contribute to PACs and that wouldn't necessarily show. But I made donations to ActBlue which is a Harris PAC - that is where most folks are directed to donate to her campaign. It's the number of folks making small donations to her that encourages me. She has outraised the Trump campaign by a lot. Musks dollars will probably close that gap by a bit, but he still only gets one vote. Trump funnels no money to down ballot candidates. Harris can and does.
@altucker @Tbdev @AlphaCentauri
ActBlue isn't a Harris PAC
It's a fund raising tool for all Dems, online since 2004
@BrentSullivan @Tbdev @AlphaCentauri thanks for clarifying that for me.
@altucker @BrentSullivan @Tbdev
But they are processing donations to the candidates' own campaigns, so that would be counted here.
@AlphaCentauri @altucker @Tbdev
Correct
It's not a PAC, it's a processing facility for any Dem who opts in and is counted in their fundraising total
@altucker That's awesome! If you go to FEC you can see that Harris has raised more than double what Trump has across the country.
Over $600 MILLION in $200 and under donations. That's mind boggling. She's going to absolutely slaughter him in the popular vote.

@nonayadambidnes I am forced to wonder who gives folks claiming to be bazillionaires money? It's interesting nonetheless.
@altucker It sucks that politics is so tied to $ though. I mean sure it costs money to travel and meet people etc....but the amount of money spent on it is staggering.
In 2020 there was over 4 BILLION spent among everyone, and the candidate who spent the most money? Bloomberg - and most of it he put in himself.
As opposed to Trump who put in a big fat ZERO in 2020 and in 2024. 🙄
(Sorry had to edit this, it looks like he did use some of his own money in 2016)
@nonayadambidnes Thanks for the link - I'm inspired again. If we vote we win.
