When I was a kid in the mid sixties, my working Mother would save a few dollars off her paycheck every week and she’d treat me and my kid sister to a trip to the Jersey shore. We’d go a bus in Philly and in less than three hours we’d arrive in Wildwood. One guest house where we stayed bragged that Woodrow Wilson slept there. I was back in Wildwood this weekend and looked up the place. It’s still standing but is now the towns Civic Center. Miss my Mom.

@Pat_Walrond it's amazing to me that I can recall, with such detail, so many memories from over sixty years ago.

@altucker Sometimes it's like a variety of unconnected snapshots, but all so vivid

@altucker What a wonderful memory of your family 😊 , and a gorgeous building too! It's nice to see that it's been taken care of over the years (love pretty colour of the porch ceiling, as well as the stairs and classic wrought iron rails).
