This is very true, but our biggest impediment to fixing the damage we have done to our earthly environment is not the rich & powerful, it is everyone else: the eight point one billion humans who must cooperate to clean up the mess we have & are making on planet earth. That is a lot of people to police. If the super rich would step up to kickstart the process that'd be a big help, but the rest of the population would still be dragging behind.
