When I was 11 I wanted to NOT be gay
When I was 15 I thought maybe I didn't want to be alive
When I was 18 I thought if I could have chosen I wouldn't have chosen to be gay
When I was in my 20s, I was just having a lot of sex and finally learned to actively enjoy being gay, but still thought probably wouldn't have chosen.
Here I am in my 60s and I'm actually REALLY REALLY glad I am gay and would totally tell about to be born me: "Definitely pick the 'I am Gay' option!"

I am also glad you're gay. I wish I could tell little 15 year old Matthew I'm so very glad he's here, and send him so much love and acceptance. 💜
