reports that Bill and Hillary have endorsed Kamala for the Democratic presidential nomination.

reports that the Congressional Black Caucus has endorsed Kamala for the Democratic nomination.

talking about some voices in the Democratic party calling for a "mini-primary" before the convention, or at the convention.

There are no mechanisms for this.

The DNC would have to hold a vote to change the convention rules. Why would they do that? It would only introduce more chaos.

My guess is that will address the convention, release his delegates, and ask them to vote for .

I don't think the DNC leadership will tolerate any other nominees.

mentions in passing that Republicans are demanding immediately resign from the presidency. Yeah, whatever.

From : The Biden-Harris campaign renames the committee in filings.

The article gets into the minutiae of FEC rules. has to remain on the ticket to use the $95.9 million in the campaign war chest.

From : More minutiae on how the convention rules will play out and how other candidates would have to be nominated.

(People lecturing me about past conventions don't seem to realize that the rules change from convention to convention ...)

Among the highlights:

* Candidate must collect signatures from at least 300 delegates.

* Candidate must establish "substantial support for their nomination as the Democratic candidate."

Well, I guess this puts an end to the "Bad News for " mainstream media reports.

And now the "Bad News for " reports begin ... 🙄

From : Some Democratic donors are reaching out to Senator Joe Manchin (I-WV), asking him to re-register as a Democrat and run for the party's presidential nomination at the convention.

From @actBlue on Zombie Twitter:

"NEW: Small-dollar donors raise over $27.5 million on ActBlue in the first 5 hours of Vice President Kamala Harris' presidential campaign. Grassroots supporters are energized and excited to support her as the Democratic nominee"

reports that California governor Gavin Newsom has endorsed Kamala for the party's presidential nomination.

Over on Zombie Twitter, the United Farm Workers have endorsed Kamala .

"The United Farm Workers is proud to endorse VP Kamala Harris for President. Dime con quien andas, y te digo quien eres.

"Kamala Harris stood with farm workers as CA’s Attorney General, as US Senator, and as Vice President. There is work to be done, and we’re ready. Sí, se puede!"

I gotta say, it would be quite amusing to see what would happen if Kamala chose Mike Pence as her running mate. 🤣

FWIW, says he won't debate unless the debate is moved from to . 🤣 🐓

Jen Psaki on interviewing Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) about . Let's see if she asks about the VP nomination ...

Nope, didn't ask him. Raskin was very energetic and excited. Strong rhetoric attacking and what the GOP stand for.

Raskin is still my choice for VP. Kelly is second, but losing his Senate seat could lose us the Senate. Raskin is in a safe House seat.

reports that all delegates in TN, NC, and SC unanimously voted by phone call to vote for at the convention.

Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) just now on :

"A tough woman scares ."

FWIW, Kamala (1964) is only three years younger than Barack (1961).

@WordsmithFL I'm not predicting anyone at this point, but why do we give two shits what is saying still?

@TrueBloodNet If you're going to insult me for watching , then I'm moving on.

@WordsmithFL Your choice. I didn't actually insult you though. I don't do personal attacks.

@mims Well, it's what I suspected. The big-dollar donors who withheld their money from and down-ticket candidates might be trying to dictate the nominee.

But this is all anonymous sources for now. It might just be someone floating rumors.

@Razdawg22 Someone said recently, "The most dangerous place to be is between and a camera." We'll see.

@WordsmithFL I don't trust Psaki. She was just on TV in the past couple days saying biden was staying in the race and nothing was wrong with him.

@JanetZumba_FalPals Media reports today have said that not even Biden's inner circle knew this was coming. Psaki reported what she was hearing from Biden's people. Your problem is with the Biden people, not with Psaki.

@WordsmithFL the other day i got to meet with her office.. that was very cool..

@WordsmithFL: I am twice younger than her than she is of Obama, and so by that math I should be her VP pick.

I have already been properly vetted. All of my shots are up to date, and I am house-trained.

"Harris/Autist 2024"

@CinnamonGirlE posted it on Truth Social tonight. I've seen the screen-captured post in several places.

@WordsmithFL
Why can't people see what a chicken, bully, predator, grifter, rapist, felon he is??

@CinnamonGirlE Some people don't care. I could name several people in my orbit who have lobotomized themselves so they can continue to support him.

@CinnamonGirlE I've been in a long time. My political mentor turned to the Dark Side. I was the first one out the door. It took a couple years, but eventually most of the inner circle followed me. A few never left him, no matter how corrupt he was.

Don't feel hopeless. That's what he wants. I guarantee you that he and the Republicans are crapping themselves right now.

@WordsmithFL @CinnamonGirlE
Just call him chicken on national TV for not debating as agreed...

He agreed too a Presidential Debate.

Call him out on his crap and force him to debate as agreed...

Coward... Does he want to claim BoneSpurs again???

@WordsmithFL
You want to believe it's satire. And then it isn't.

@WordsmithFL Oh dear, don't joke. I fear the Democrats might be wandering around the internet looking for ways to screw this race up further. They might see.

@WordsmithFL
I don't think it's going to be that difficult nominating Harris. The primaries were winner-takes-all in most states, so there are very few delegates who weren't all-in for Biden. That meant being all-in for the status quo, and that's now Harris. Hard to imagine more than 50% will break ranks with that. Inertia is powerful.

VP choice will be interesting, though.

@WordsmithFL they'd do it the same way that they did a roll call at Convention when Sen Sanders was running for Potus. Remember?

@WordsmithFL Would Biden delegates have the option of not becoming Harris delegates? Worried the Supreme Court would come up with something at ’s request to keep her from getting the nomination.

@ACG2 I don't see how. The convention is August 19. To file a lawsuit, a party must have "standing," i.e. been injured by the defendant. It's an internal Democratic Party matter. is adjourned until October, so no way to hold a hearing.

Could Biden delegates not support Harris? Depends on what rules they come up with but, if he releases them, then yeah, they can vote for whomever they want. But they're Biden people, so they'll do what he wants.

@WordsmithFL 🙏🏼💙Thanks!!! Feeling a bit more relieved now.
