@Cosmichomicide Pelosi made a backroom deal with "The Squad" prior to the 116th Session that she would step down as House Democratic leader after two more sessions and let a new generation arise. Sure enough, Nancy did. That's why the Democrats didn't have this scene on the floor in January 2019.
@WordsmithFL I know. But the point is that Nancy doesn't take a vote until she knows the outcome and the deals are final.
