WORD OF THE DAY:

Thence

Definition: (adverb) From that place; from there.

Synonyms: therefrom

Usage: The train went south into Switzerland and thence on to Italy

@WhiteRose

The other day I was thinking, 🤔 if someone says "the train goes to Geneva or thereabouts", people understand that, so why do we not say "it was close to noontime, or thenabouts" ? Instead, they say noon or thereabouts.

"Thenabouts" should also be a word. 😂

Next problem please, 😉
