If I had the money, I'd start a campaign that imitated the methods of political campaigns that target the lowest common denominator, like sensationalistic junk mail, but it would educate on logical fallacies and shady methods of persuasion, as well as tips on critical thinking in a time of deep fakes.

@tippitiwichet Excellent idea! We homeschooled and 1 assignment I gave my daughter was to write to descriptions of a woman sitting outside watching her children play:
1. Showing her in a negative light (A frowzy woman watched her ...)
And
2. Showing her in a positive light (A happy mother sat...)
One of the best exercises we did.

@tippitiwichet
My best reward was when my daughter said, "Mommy, some people don't know the difference between facts and beliefs!"
We had a blast. She went to pubic HS and to college and has done well.

@VivianCreekmore Yeah, we're going to let her go when she gets older, then make the choice to finish at home or in school, but if she goes public, she'll need to be reading some history books I give her as well.
