When I was a kid, a gorgeous black and yellow spider built a large web outside our dining room window. Although I had arachnaphobia, I was fascinated and would watch for long periods, hoping for a burst of activity.

The webs these ones make are extremely strong.
Yeah, the little one is a male. There's a lot of sexual dimorphism with these.
