Local weather:

Light wet snow just now starting.
Maybe around 3" in the next 24 hours.
But then rain will melt it all. Saturday.

One thing I have noticed over the years I have been here. Is that the early snows are wetter, and the December nights warmer. I am at 2,300 ft here, and it seems to me that my first years were more like it is currently at about 4,800 ft up at the Santiam Pass. As if I am sliding down the mountain, weather wise.

I could look this all up. But I won't.

@corlin just to a peek at the radar to the south of me and you’re in for some action in a couple hours. Toss another log on the fire 🔥

@TwitterExpat
Yep.
Thanks.
I am keeping an eye on it.

Snug as a bug…here.

@corlin @TwitterExpat Up here in the Portland metro area, it's just rain for now. But overnight Sat into Sun we *may* get freezing rain. But that's a few days away, and western Oregon is hard to (accurately) forecast for! 🤞
