On Feb. 10, 2024, Trump declared that if he were to become president again, he would encourage the Russians to do “whatever the hell they want” to NATO countries that failed to meet the Western alliance’s target of spending two percent of GDP on defence.

Under Trump, NATO and the post-Second World War liberal democratic order will fade away, only to be replaced by an anarchical international system characterized by cataclysmic land wars in Europe and instability in the Indo-Pacific region.

@catlynne333 We are abandoning NATO. Without us, they don't have the resources to do much of anything. When Putie takes Ukraine and then eyes Europe, they are on their own.

@catlynne333 What exactly is your point, that they will fight off Putie with nukes? Really? That is what your argument is?

@Tuckertown no
trump said he will attack Nato where does that leave us?

@catlynne333 Lady, you haven't seen me in a hot tone. I'm trying to keep it civil.

@Tuckertown we have tools that allow you to block or mute others if they stress you out. it's very civil & allows you to curate your own experience. you can unmute or unblock later if you choose, as well

@redenigma I don't really like blocking ppl but given my mental state at the moment, I cannot handle pit bulls either. I am trying to learn the site as best I can. Thanks.

@Tuckertown i noticed you might be having buttons pushed. that's unpleasant at the best of times. wasn't sure if you knew you could fix the issue easily.

@redenigma I don't think that the person in question understood what I was saying. Nukes aren't going to solve anything. I'm too tired to argue endlessly. I did find the block button.

@catlynne333 He doesn't have to attack NATO, he will simply withdraw the US from NATO unilaterally.
