Even though I am slowly putting together a business plan for my editing and proofreading service… I kind of wish I could rescue this historic building and turn it into an indoor/outdoor mini putt, party space, and bookshop.

I need new shoes. The sneakers I have now are many years old, and have worn so thin that I can feel every stone and pebble. My left heel is bruised.

BUT the thought of getting new shoes fills me with fresh anxiety. Memories of blisters. I am not likely to find a pair of women’s shoes that will fit me in my little community, being a size 12-13 depending on the make. Even if I place an order this evening, it will be at least a week before they arrive. Should I try adding insoles for now?

My depression hasn’t won today… but my head really hurts. Going to flip through some childhood diaries and things shortly, see what might be good to include in or turn into an ebook with graphics, for practice and learning.

Had an idea: what if I put a succulent pocket in a gnome’s beard?
Things I have learned: more weight is needed in the bum to counterbalance a wet plant… I could definitely play with the length of the beard (am picturing two or even three succulents, or perhaps air plants)… the top of the pocket needs more support to keep the plant level, too. Forecast changed — yesterday, the prediction for the weekend was mostly rain. Now it’s mostly snow. I’m kind of glad we shifted back to seasonal, but the chill is also tiring. Having trouble this past month with getting certain things done. Spring is NOT my favourite season.
