And now we are ramping up our timeline to move to France. A dumpster will take all the stuff that can’t be sold or donated. We’ll clear out the house by December 15 and put it up for auction. Moving in early January with doggo and my 83 year old momma.

That's wonderful! I'd love to hear how you managed it. Do you have dual citizenship? How were you able to get a job there? Obviously respecting your boundaries, but I'm very curious to hear about it.
@janallmac I don’t yet. It’s a five year process. We’re financially able to get the visa we need. I’m doing the paperwork now. We’d planned to wait until spring, but not now. As for the money issues, I work from home, and my mother has her retirement. Our house is completely paid for, so we will have that money to pay for a new home outright and not owe anything. We’ve been planning this move for a year. It’s just going to happen sooner.
