Prepping to sell a bunch of stuff we don’t want to take with us. Four wingback chairs. A 42” tv. Black tv stand. A 5.1 surround sound system. A Firestick and Luna game controller. A coatrack. So much random stuff, but all of it is stuff that needs to go. Trying to figure out what to ask for this stuff is hard for me. If it was just me, I’d donate all of it to goodwill and let else enjoy it. But mom wants us to get something for it. Pics, posting online, fielding calls…I’d rather be packing.
@TheRealDelia when I moved from TX to NC, I do much of my furniture to the Houston Furniture Bank. They served as a clearinghouse for multiple charities helping families and individuals in transition. What was awesome is that those in need could go in and choose their furniture rather than getting various random items. Since 1992, they’ve helped over 30,000 families. Maybe there’s a similar organization near you. You won’t make money but you will feel great.
