@status @th3j35t3r Moderating for this kind of event can be difficult. On discussion forums we used to use short suspensions to take the heat off of an issue. But that's a very intensive kind of social engineering better suited to a staff of moderators. And often the cure could lead to as much or more animosity than the symptom.
@Fellixe @status @th3j35t3r Thatβs always the difficult part of moderation. Damned if you do, damned if you donβt. Lost track of all the heat and threats I took over the years doing it. People would flounce off at the slightest hint of moderation, but still demand action when situations arose.

@TheNewsOwl @Fellixe @status @th3j35t3r Iβve found that all you can do is try to find the middle ground. If people are unwilling to compromise, then thereβs not much else to be done. You canβt create echo chambers for them.
