If a God-being exists, said God-being must be very pleased (if it's not an indifferent God-being), to my acknowledgement of its existence, how many times I've already passionately implored it to ensure a certain thing happens.
Yes, exactly correct. It's foolish. But in moments of anxiety and a feeling of helplessness, it's kind of an automatic irrational thing. And I fully own that, and was seeking to be humorous about the sudden faith of someone (me) deeeply agnostic....
