They can feel human fear and anxiety, as well as happiness, and I think even know when something or someone is sick or physically or mentally out of sync with nature and dangerous, and maybe thatā€™s a form of evil(?) , but ā€œevilā€ is a human construct, because animals are instinctual and therefore innocent. Nature is amoral. Only a creature with the higher brain functioning to make a distinction between good and evil, and has a choice can be ā€œevilā€. So Iā€™m going to say no.
