Trump held a town hall with undecided Latino voters moderated by journalist Enrique Acevedo for Univision. The audience asked excellent questions: how would he bring down household costs, who would take the jobs left behind by undocumented workers if Trump deported them and how much would that drive up food costs, why Trump took so long to stop the J6 rioters, if he had caused deaths during the pandemic by misleading Americans, and if he agrees with Melania, about protecting abortion rights.

->

But Trump did not answer the questions, instead regurgitating his usual talking points. He promised to produce more oil and gas, called undocumented immigrants criminals, repeated the lie about Haitian migrants eating pets, and, after notably referring to the January 6 rioters as “we” and law enforcement officers as “the others,” called January 6 “a day of love.” The audience did not appear convinced.

Most of the people in that Univision “town hall” audience lookedsuck to their stomachs and like they were going to vomit.

After seeing that and the stark differences between Kamala’s caring, capable empathic town hall and Turdmps debacle. I have zero concern for the Latin vote not pulling through for her. None whatsoever.
