scary lawyerguy:
I keep telling y'all, boring old competent governance was a total boner killer for the media - Biden was single handedly destroying the business model they created by helping Trump win in 2016 built on clicks and outrage - and so he had to be taken down, no matter what.

This this this… one million percent on this.

Let’s do a thought experiment: I’m a news organization dependent on outrage, fear, terror, chaos, to produce the high-quality click(bait) trends that dictate what I charge for advertising.

Who is the hands down best supplier of those $&$$ aspects? The answer is self-evident (and he knows it). So you have the NY Times will sane-wash him and keep finding horrifying possibilities and possible surprises to freak Dems the eff out.

@Bix

So Biden was too steady and competent and they punished him for it again and again and again (the NY Times was relentless with the FUD even before the fateful debate he had with Turdrmpt.

Now, things have been settling down w Kamala after the initial euphoria and excitement and they’re going back into FUD let’s find nightmares for the Dems mode. Like clockwork.

Add to it the “herding” being done by most of the polling Co’s terrified of losing prestige as outliers…

So very few except the give zero fucks about that (usually polls attached to big news orgs, NBC, Economist) polls will show 3, 4 or 5 percentage points advantage for Kamala.

Even the last Times/Siena poll showed her pulling away nationally and in swing states, but the NY Times followed that with article after article about her “weakness” with African Americans, Latinos, White men, black men, Arab-Americans, etc.

And Schturmp can keep claiming a tight race, normality and mental health.
