Beyond furious today. @Mrs_Bones had a meeting with the big bosses today. The Board of Directors dismissed our Administrator from the latest meeting, voted a new CEO in and his opinion is that he needs to "trim the fat" because employees get paid too much. Which means that unless they can justify their jobs, firing the entire management staff, including Mrs Bones, and other employees with 30+ YEARS of experience working with our clients (adults with disabilities).

He also thinks that the Remote employees need to be back in the office immediately, even though there's no reason for them to be in the office.
His third FUCKING BRILLIANT idea is to completely end the employee insurance plan.
Apparently, although they're mandated to provide coverage, the penalties for not doing so are less than it costs to HAVE it.
He fails to grasp the intricacies of the situation. If he tells us we're losing health coverage because it's cheaper to pay fines,

That's messed up and something seems off TBH and doesn't smell right at all.
That is a formula for destroying the company via leaving employees. The job market is tight. That's why salaries have gone up.
Also, I believe he announced he's going to commit fraud by saying he'd rather pay fines than provide Healthcare...
Anyhow sorry about this, hang in there.
Once clients hear about all that and begin to complain and disappear they will reconsider.

@TheAbbotTrithemius our clients are mostly wards of the state so they don't get to just choose to leave us without some major paperwork, meetings, and finding a new company with waiver slots. That's IF their state worker cares enough to do the work. @Heucuva8 @Zevon
