I really like this clip, which was used just once, incidentally as the hero approaches the villains' lair.
It is similar to most of the music in the series.

That clip was from Fireball X-L5 by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson. Even back then I remember thinking that Fireball sounded like an unlucky name for a spacecraft :)
The Gerry Anderson sci-fi action show, UFO was genius. It was in reruns when I was a kid, and I thought it was the weirdest, spookiest, scariest, sexiest, unbelievably to-food-to-be true coolest, and most accurate predictor of what the future should and was absolutely going to be like.
The theme music is in a class of its own, and one of my favorite pieces of music of all time:

UFO (TV series) - (Intro & Outro)
1980 was the "future", as the show filmed 1970- 1971.
These moonbase, UFO hunting women were seriously ahead of their time;

UFO was brilliant. We just accepted that Moon women all have the same hair style and blue color.
I love exploring many of their older shows as well.
Joe 90: Scientist experiments with thought transplantation on his son. Sends him on dangerous missions.
The Secret Service: Spy priest uses shrink ray on manservant. Sends him on dangerous missions in suitcases, lunchboxes etc.
The TOP SUPER SUPER SECRET (LOL) and "scientific" aspects in all the shows (I never watched the shows you just mentioned is so great, as is that everything is a "dangerous mission" handled smartly in cool punk rock outfits (especially in UFO) which to this day is just such a killer combination of fun. And these were kids shows! Ha ha....
The Prisoner, one of the best TV series of all time IMHO had those elements as well.
Also British (and also an ITC production??).

I just found what looks like a contemporary or maybe precursor of UFO.
It shares many of the same cast.
I even saw two of Straker's cars in a single shot!
A full movie called Journey to the Far Side of the Sun.
