This chart fro the survey was very interesting and considering what happened in Kansas (of all places) I think on the mark.
Voters across every demographic group, including white men and those in rural areas, are more likely to move toward a candidate in favor of, rather than against,
abortion rights.
I was referring to the vote in Kansas in August in which:
Abortion rights activists won a huge victory in the red state of Kansas on Tuesday. Kansans voted overwhelmingly (59% to 41%) to reject an amendment that said there was no constitutional right to an abortion in the state.
