I think Colbert really nails it here. Trumps bluster and bullshit about not accepting a peaceful transfer and going to the Supreme court is pure (and powerful) mind fuckery. It’s about making people feel helpless to his show of overwhelming legal firepower. It’s what he’s always done in business as well: Threaten vast legal action against someone *he’s* fucking over.

TBH since he made the statement Wednesday night, I have been feeling like this might be hopeless.
