1 of 2 - I have something to say, and I know it's likely to piss some folks off. But I feel I gotta say it.
Some folks seem to think that https://counter.social is a 'safe space' - and it is - from a TECHNICAL standpoint. Safe from bots, hackers, mis and disinformation, web archivers and scrapers, foreign influence operations and other nefarious cyber shenanigans.

^^^ 2 of 2 - I can't make it 'safe' with respect to the sensibilities and expectations of everyone who proudly states 'mental illness' (or other special or protected status) in their bio, especially while they proceed to 'thought police' the rest of the community here.
You're on social media, and just like the real world, none of them are your paid therapists.
Everyone gets an equal chance to *not* be an asshole here. Please don't squander it. 🙏

^^^ EXTRA NOTE - I challenge anyone to find a more accepting or inclusive social media platform or community. Most everyone here is supportive, sensitive & understanding.
And I am PROUD of most folks here.
Those who don't want to listen to you, will use the tools to mute or block or soft unfollow you, whatever. Same as everyone else.
And that's fine too. You most certainly do have free speech here, but that doesn't mean EVERYBODY has to listen to or engage you. Just like real life. 👍
