For the straw-clutchers who are already saying "actually, SCOTUS could intervene"...
I have spent 30 years reading authoritarian dillweeds writing headlines like "new evidence coming soon - SCOTUS will intervene" as they sought to disqualify Barack Obama,
Kamala Harris, and cancel the 2020 election results.
None of their bonkers claims ever converted to fact.
The people making these claims are legally illiterate and willfully ignorant, and should be gently or bluntly ridiculed.

@gshevlin This particular felon happens to have appointed 1/3 of the current court. So while today was a victory for the Rule of Law, I do not feel comfortable lowering my guard until those that are trying to dismantle our institutions have their efforts truly and finally rebuffed.
