The Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp was just north of Berlin. Outside its fence was a Brotfabrik (bread factory), where prisoners who were literally starving to death toiled to make bread to feed the SS. The Nazis did this as a form of torture.
If they survived the war, Florida textbooks under Ron DeSantis might say those Jews learned valuable baking skills.

@Stonekettle In that specific photo, those are gays wearing the Pink Triangle. I visited Sachsenhausen and it was very haunting. If I were a gay man living in Berlin that is likely where I would have been shipped and probably perished. There is a memorial at Sachsenhausen apologizing for the gays who were killed at that camp.
This is not to diminish your larger point about the millions of Jews who were murdered. i just wanted to address that particular photo and the memory it triggered.
