Twitter under control of Elon Musk is the perfect metaphor for America under Republican ideology.
I.e. Eliminate everything that makes the place work and makes people want to be there, no idea what makes it valuable so you drive it full speed into bankruptcy, promote the haters and howling trolls and remove those who actually make the content, pretend every disaster is what you always meant to do so you never ever have to take responsibility, and then declare victory.
