A symptom perpetuated, like many of the issues that plague us, by a feedback loop.

There is much more I could say, as I have spent much of my life up until this point trying to understand the insidious, many-headed hydra of dystopia that infests (and is still growing within) our society, but I oughtn't expand on that unprompted.
