We talk a lot about wishing to be able to see a movie or show for the first time again, but would you be able to appreciate your favorites as you are now if it was your first time? Or is there a right time/place phenomenon involved in our favorite pieces of art?
@Stephenstrek l was in Amsterdam recently and we visited 4 museums, 3 of which we had visited over a decade earlier. Some of the pieces l had seen before, but l noticed how some of them hit differently, some ones that were particularly entrancing, not sure if l had ever seen them before( they were part of the permanent collection), or if the me now was changed so l reacted to them this visit and skimmed past them on my last
